Professional Counseling for adults, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. Find the support you need at Beacon Point.
In life, we all face seasons where the clouds roll in and we lose sight of the shore. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, struggling with the weight of anxiety, or feeling disconnected in your relationships, you don't have to find your way alone.
I founded Beacon Point Counseling to be a steady presence for those feeling lost and adrift in uncertain waters. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that everyone has the internal strength to weather life's storms.....sometimes, you just need a little light to see the path clearly.
In our work together, I provide a safe, trusting, non-judgmental harbor where we can explore your challenges and build the resilience you need to move forward with confidence.
About
My Core Services
Choosing to start therapy is a brave step toward a healthier version of yourself. In our work together, you can expect a space that is safe, collaborative, and focused on your growth.
Individual Therapy (Adults & Teens): We work one-on-one to navigate life transitions, quiet the inner critic, and build a toolkit for emotional regulation.
Couples Counseling: I help partners move from conflict to connection by improving communication and identifying the shared strengths within the relationship.
Specialized Trauma & Stress Recovery: Using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), we can work to process distressing memories and physical sensations quickly, often seeing shifts in just a few sessions.
My Therapeutic Approach
I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I blend different evidence-based methods to fit your specific needs:
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): We’ll identify and reshape the thought patterns that are keeping you stuck in a loop of anxiety and/or depression.
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): I’ll teach you "in-the-moment" skills for managing intense emotions and improving how you relate to others.
ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy): A creative, fast-acting approach using eye movements to help your brain "re-program" how it stores painful images or memories.
Positive Psychology: We won’t just talk about what’s "wrong." We will actively identify your existing strengths and use them as the foundation for your wellness.
